I'm Jessie Watson
I'm a naturopath, a chef, partner to Sara and mum to Delilah.
I have been a chef for 17 years, and have worked in restaurants and cafes here in Australia and internationally. A transition to studying nutrition felt like a natural progression with my love of food and I wanted to learn more about how we can use use food as medicine. It was early on in my degree that I was made aware of all of the things naturopathy can help with and immediately I wanted to learn more. This lead me to change my degree, and so my career in naturopathy began!

Naturopathy offers a holistic approach, treating the whole person by addressing physical, emotional, and mental health. It focuses on natural therapies such as nutrition, herbal medicine, and lifestyle changes, providing personalized care tailored to your unique needs and health goals. Emphasizing disease prevention and long-term wellness, naturopathy aims to identify and treat the root causes of health issues rather than just the symptoms. Additionally, it can complement conventional medicine, offering a balanced and integrative approach to healthcare.

It was through my own health challenges that I developed my passion
It is due to my own lived experience that I am able to treat with empathy, because I've been there. From challenging and painful periods as a teenager, to being put on the pill by GP to manage the symptoms, to later being diagnosed with PCOS, I understand just how difficult hormonal conditions can be to live with unmanaged. As well as this, my partner, Sara and I have experienced the challenges that come with building a family as a same sex couple. I am here to celebrate your wins with you and support you through the challenges.
